SHOCK ABSORBERS 

35mm Nitrogen Gas Charged Shock Absorbers

The Tough Dog Nitrogen Gas Charged Shock Absorbers are ideal for light/medium 4WD vehicles with leaf spring suspension systems. They are filled with low-pressure nitrogen gas that helps to eliminate shock fade for better ride comfort and performance. These twin-tube shocks have a 35mm internal bore and piston, and they also benefit from multi-stage velocity sensitive valving. 

 

41mm Bore Foam Cell Shock Absorbers

The award-winning, twin-tube 41mm Bore Foam Cell Shock Absorbers feature micro-cellular foam inserts that do an even better job of eliminating shock fade, enabling the shocks to deliver better performance even on the most challenging road surfaces. They feature a larger 41mm internal bore, and an 18mm double chrome-plated rod. They also benefit from multi stage velocity sensitive valving.    

 

40mm Bore Adjustable Shock Absorbers

The 40mm bore adjustable shock absorbers offer nine levels of adjustment, so you can fine-tune them to your desired ride preferences. They have a 40mm internal bore and an 18mm chrome-plated rod, and they also use foam cell technology. 

 

45mm Big Bore Adjustable Shock Absorbers

The 45mm big bore adjustable shock absorbers also offer 9 stages of adjustment. They have the largest bore (45 mm) on the externally adjustable 4WD shock absorber market. They also have a larger 22mm chrome plated rod and foam cell technology. These shocks are ideal for big lift applications of even up to six inches.  

 

53mm Bore ‘Ralph’ Shock Absorbers

The twin-tube ‘Ralph’ Shock Absorbers offer an even larger 53mm bore but aren't adjustable.  They feature a 22mm double chrome-plated rod, a stout 70mm casing, and multi-stage velocity-sensitive valving. 

 

STEERING DAMPERS

The Tough Dog Steering dampers are designed to help reduce driving fatigue and improve drivability during off-road driving. 

 

EXT Heavy Duty Steering Damper

The EXT Heavy Duty Steering Damper makes an excellent replacement option when the factory/OEM steering damper is no longer cutting it. It eliminates shimmy, facilitating better road handling. It has a 35mm bore and foam cell technology.

 

RTC (Return to Center) Steering Damper

The RTC steering damper is designed to provide an equal and opposite reaction to anything that fights your steering; it returns the steering wheel back to the center. 

 

XHD RTC (Return to Center) Steering Damper

The XHD RTC Steering Damper is ideal for vehicles with large suspension kits or oversized tires. It also applies the return-to-center principle, and it also eliminates shimmy and enhances road handling.  

 

SV Adjustable Steering Damper

The SV Adjustable Steering Damper offers nine levels of adjustment, making it possible to tune the shocks to suit your driving preferences. It is ideal for vehicles with oversized wheels.
