Delivery

Our Warehouse ships orders Monday to Friday from our Gold Coast facility, we use a wide range of freight companies to ensure that your orders are delivered with the best mix of delivery time frame and at the best rates possible. Our website is able to process shipping for Domestic shipping in Australia and internationally through most countries, we can manually process orders for any other destination so please reach out if our site cannot quote you.

Domestic Freight

For all small orders, shipping starts from $19.99. Orders containing medium, large, excessively heavy, or bulky items will have freight calculated automatically by the website, with any additional shipping costs shown in the shipping options at checkout.

If there are any issues with the freight calculated on an order, our team will contact you prior to dispatch to discuss the available options.

Examples of products that may attract additional shipping charges include (but are not limited to): bull bars, awnings, leaf springs, and other oversized or heavy items.

On check out you will generally be provided with two freight options flat rate and with insurance, Freight insurance will provide coverage for cases of lost or damaged goods in transit. Please ensure that this option is selected for items that are fragile or high value as whilst all care is taken while packing orders, any orders lost or damaged in transit without insurance will not be replaced.

Most freight companies that we use will make deliveries between Monday to Friday, for this reason we do recommend that you use a postal address that someone will be available for collection during business hours. Please ensure that you double check and confirm the shipping details as not all shipments are able to be redirected once in transit.

Order Processing

All orders showing In Stock – Ready to Ship will typically be processed within 1–2 business days from the date of order confirmation.

Products on our website display live stock indicators to assist customers:

  • Green – In Stock (Ready to Ship): Item is physically in stock at our Gold Coast warehouse and ready for dispatch.
  • In Stock at Supplier DC – Ready to Ship: Item is available at one of our supplier distribution centres and will be transferred or dispatched directly for fulfilment. These products include a tooltip on the product page outlining the estimated handling and shipping timeframes applicable to these items.
  • Available / Lead Time Applies: Item is not currently in stock and shows the estimated lead time for supply from the manufacturer, subject to their stock availability.

Your invoice will also provide stock status information. Our customer service team will endeavour to notify customers if the estimated dispatch or delivery timeframe extends beyond the estimate provided on the product page.

If your order status shows as "Processing", this confirms we have received your order and are currently allocating stock either from our warehouse or securing stock from our supplier network where required prior to dispatch.

Orders containing backordered or supplier lead-time products will be shipped once all items are available. If you require a split shipment, please contact our customer service team to discuss available options (additional freight charges may apply).

To check estimated arrival timeframes for backordered products, you may log into your customer account on our website or contact our support team.

International Shipping destinations

For international shipments, 4x4 Mods Australia utilises a network of international carriers including DHL, UPS and Australia Post International services, with the most suitable provider selected based on destination, size and service availability.

If your delivery address is outside of Australia, your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, customs clearance fees and any other government charges once the shipment arrives in your destination country. As customs policies vary significantly between countries, all international shipments may also be subject to inspection by local customs authorities.

The customer (importer) is solely and fully responsible for the payment of ALL import duties, taxes, tariffs, customs fees, clearance charges, handling fees and any other charges associated with the import of the goods. These charges are not included in your order total unless explicitly stated and must be paid by the recipient to allow customs clearance and delivery.

4x4 Mods Australia accepts no responsibility for these charges and will not offer refunds or compensation for costs incurred due to import fees or customs requirements. If a shipment is refused due to unpaid duties or taxes, any return freight costs, storage fees, penalties, or carrier charges incurred will be deducted from any applicable refund.

We strongly recommend contacting your local customs office prior to purchase to understand any potential import costs or restrictions.
