With so much frontal space available on these we had to come to the party with a larger intercooler.  The PDI Ford Ranger Front Mount Intercooler core is 700x300x76mm and has all cast alloy end tanks.

Why is this important? The widest core available is to provide maximum heat extraction from the incoming air and ensure the condenser and radiator behind aren’t blocked off in the areas covered by the end tanks.  

Fully cast end tanks ensures they are the strongest possible and least likely to split along a seam.  We have had the air temperature sensor cast into the end tank as well as a oil drain.

We have upgraded the piping for those preparing a series of performance mods. All piping is stainless steel. The turbo side piping is rerouted to be significantly shorter and with a single 63mm pipe.

Core is positioned further back at the bottom to allow the fitment of a winch.
