Installation & Fitment Responsibility
All products sold by 4x4 Mods Australia are automotive and off-road parts and must be installed by a qualified and licensed automotive professional (mechanic, auto electrician, suspension specialist or certified installer where applicable).
By purchasing from 4x4 Mods Australia, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:
1. Professional Installation Required
All parts must be installed by a qualified professional in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
4x4 Mods Australia accepts no responsibility for damage, failure, injury, or loss resulting from improper installation.
2. Customer Fitment Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the product purchased is suitable, compatible, and fit for purpose for their specific vehicle prior to installation.
This includes confirming:

Correct make, model and build year
-
Variant, engine type and series
-
Existing vehicle modifications
-
GVM upgrades or suspension changes
-
Intended use (touring, towing, off-road, competition use etc.)
Any advice provided by 4x4 Mods Australia staff is general in nature and does not replace professional mechanical assessment.
3. Pre-Installation Inspection
Customers must inspect all goods immediately upon receipt to ensure:

The correct product has been supplied

There are no visible defects
-
No freight damage has occurred
-
The product matches the intended application
Under no circumstances should a product be installed if it appears incorrect or damaged.
Installation of a product constitutes acceptance that the correct item has been supplied and is fit for the intended vehicle application.
4. Limitation of Liability
4x4 Mods Australia will not be liable for:

Labour costs
-
Removal or reinstallation costs
-
Mechanical damage
-
Wheel alignments
-
Tuning costs
-
Engineering certification costs
-
Vehicle downtime
-
Loss of use
-
Consequential or indirect loss
where the product has been incorrectly ordered, incorrectly installed, modified, or used outside manufacturer specifications.
Shipping & Delivery
We deliver products Australia wide using StarTrack and Australia Post at competitive rates starting at $17.99 per order.
We recommend using a business address for delivery to ensure successful receipt. Alternatively, you may select ATL (Authority to Leave) at checkout.
PLEASE NOTE:
Any ATL order forfeits insurance coverage and 4x4 Mods Australia accepts no responsibility for missing, stolen or damaged parcels once marked as delivered by the carrier.
In-stock orders are usually dispatched same day if ordered before 2:00pm. Orders placed after 2:00pm will be dispatched the following business day.
Out-of-stock items generally ship within 1–7 business days depending on supplier origin. Estimated dispatch timeframes are listed on each product page.
Domestic shipping times are estimated between 1–5 business days depending on your location. Please refer to tracking information supplied for accurate delivery updates.
Privacy & Security
All payment information and credit card details are processed securely via the Commonwealth Bank merchant gateway using 256-bit encryption.
Your personal information remains with 4x4 Mods Australia and is not provided to third parties except where required to process your order (e.g. freight providers or payment processors).
Returns & Replacements
Products may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund or store credit.
All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number prior to return.
Freight charges are strictly non-refundable.
The following conditions apply:

No returns on opened, installed or used products

No returns on items that have been fitted, modified, painted or altered

Items must be returned in original packaging and saleable condition

Products damaged due to incorrect installation are not eligible for return

Return shipping labels must not be attached directly to product packaging (this will void the return)

Damaged packaging may attract a re-boxing fee
Clearance items and special-order products are not eligible for return unless agreed in writing prior to purchase.
Refused or undeliverable shipments returned to our warehouse will be treated as a standard return. All outbound freight, return freight and carrier fees will be deducted from the refund or charged prior to re-shipment.
Incorrectly shipped or transit-damaged items must be reported immediately to our customer service team for review.
Ordering

After completing payment, you will receive an order confirmation and tax invoice via email. A tracking email will be sent once your order is dispatched.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a product is found to be faulty or not of acceptable quality under Australian Consumer Law, remedies will be provided in accordance with statutory obligations.
